Our Practitioner
Hello and welcome to our website. My name is Angel Brown, CKYT, RYT® 200. I am a certified Kemetic Yoga Instructor, a certified Level II Reiki Practitioner, a Somatic Therapy Practitioner, Doula, Childbirth Educator and an intuitive reader, ready to hold a safe space for the physical, emotional, and spiritual transformation of our clients.
I am a successful entrepreneur and hold a Bachelor of Administration in Business obtained from St. Xavier University. I am a Licensed Illinois Managing Real Estate Broker (for over 20 years) and I worked in corporate America as a commercial property manager for a little over 18 years.
- Over the span of my career in the corporate world through this present time, I have come to realize that our entire lives are a continual journey of self-discovery. During my time in corporate America, I tapped into so many aspects of mySELF in order to get the job done and be the BEST at what I do. I operated in my divine masculine (ACTION-yang) power, as the dominant power in my life for many years. I believed I was whole and didn't realize that my divine feminine (RECEPTIVITY-yin) power was also to be respected and cultivated for proper balance within oneself.
- In the beginning of 2020, I lost my Best Friend, my Mom, very suddenly. This trauma kicked my spiritual awakening into high gear. I began to see my inner world with new eyes and insight. I began to identify all of the masks I was wearing in order to be accepted. I started to investigate each mask, one by one. In doing so, I uncovered so many wounds that required healing. As I healed from these various wounds, my masks commenced to fall away...one by one..
- I started to nurture the divine feminine aspect within mySELF (this is present inside of all of us regardless of gender). I began to see how society makes us feel that we either must operate in the feminine or masculine power, but not both. When the feminine energy is ignored or wounded, our loving, intuitive, creative, and empathetic natures are repressed. I noticed that I had resisted expressing certain qualities just so I could meet social approval because we all have been conditioned to do so.
- After much needed shadow work, I saw my LIGHT and felt the unconditional LOVE for mySELF that we all deserve to feel. I started to express mySELF as I truly AM...a union of both the divine masculine and feminine energy...a union of both my light and dark SELF.....a UNIQUE expression of the SOURCE of ALL. My capacity for SELF-acceptance grew by leaps and bounds. I started to apply Self-awareness in my daily life, trusting my intuition. In doing this inner SELF work, my Soul's journey and purpose as a Lightworker became evident. My gifts and abilities surfaced, as I simply started to operate as my True Authentic SELF. My passion to spread love, light and healing to all I come into contact with was born out of my very SOUL.
The journey to self discovery is very personal and unique to each individual. I am honored to help by providing services and tools geared to assist you on the most amazing adventure you could ever embark upon in this lifetime.
